Professor Max Watson – ECHO Clinical Lead

Max is the driving force behind Project ECHO Northern Ireland.

Max piloted the use of ECHO in Northern Ireland in 2014 through the hospice and, following Superhub training in New Mexico last year, has led the growth of ECHO networks in the UK and Europe from the Northern Ireland Superhub in Belfast.

He leads the Immersion and Facilitator training programmes, and is medical expert for a number of ECHO networks relating to Palliative Care.

Aine McMullan – ECHO NI Project Manager

Áine Mcmullan is the Project Manager for Project ECHO Northern Ireland. Áine works closely with the NIH on the delivery of the ECHO knowledge networks.

Áine and the ECHO Working Group provide support to the Project Board for ECHO Northern Ireland.

Tracey McTernaghan image

Tracey McTernaghan – Business Development Co-ordinator

Tracey will be your key contact if you wish to replicate the ECHO model in your own area, or if you wish to attend an ECHO network as an observer.

Tracey co-ordinates the Immersion training programmes and will ensure that you are provided with any documentation required to run your hub.

Eamonn Haughey – ECHO IT Technician

Eamonn provides the IT support for the Echo Networks, and will usually be seen sitting in the corner of the hub with 2 screens in front of him. His job is basically to make IT invisible.. life is hard enough without the need for technical difficulties, so he will take care of that and make your Echo experience a smooth and pleasant one.

Caoimhe Muldoon – ECHO Network Support

Caoimhe provides admin support for the networks, sending out agendas and all relevant documentation for training days and each of the ECHO sessions.

Nuala Connolly – E-Learning Officer

Nuala maintains the ECHO Northern Ireland website and Moodle e-learning platform. She will be able to help you if you have any problems logging into the ECHO Moodle site or accessing the resources.
