Clinical ECHO

The Clinical ECHO Network connects hospice and palliative care clinicians across the UK and beyond. All health and social care practitioners are welcome to join.

About the network

The Clinical ECHO uses the ECHO methodology of all teach, all learn to connect palliative care clinicians across the UK and beyond.

Meetings share recent updates in policy, practice and guidance, explore key topics of interest and review recent journal articles. Examples of good practice are regularly featured, with presentations by innovators from across the sector.

Leadership

The Clinical ECHO is led by:

  • Professor Max Watson MBE, Medical Lead, Hospice UK and Palliative Medicine Consultant, Western Trust, Omagh.
  • Professor Kate Flemming, Head of Department, Department of Health Sciences, The University of York.
  • Anita Hayes, Clinical Quality Lead, Hospice UK.


Meetings schedule

The Clinical ECHO meets online using Zoom. Meetings are monthly.

Our next Scheduled Session will take place during the Palliative Care Congress 2026 Conference in Brighton on 27th March 2026 from 15.25pm to 16.30pm. Zoom details shall be confirmed in advanced of the Session for access.

Further ECHO Sessions for 2026 shall be confirmed shortly.
