HSE Alcohol Programme

The Integrated Alcohol Service is currently being piloted two areas (Cork, Midwest) through Slaintecare funding and are in varying stages of development in three additional areas (DNCC, Galway City, Mayo). The teams in each of these areas differ by location, team staffing allocation, cliental, funding structure, governance structure, and in their stages of development. The Project ECHO Model would work well in terms of the platform used and not needing to be in the same physical location. Sharing best practice through case studies and real examples will greatly benefit this group. Those attending will have a variety of specialist knowledge and experience to shares.

Target Audience

The spokes/participants include the Integrated Alcohol Service team members (35-40 pax). These vary in each region comprising of Psychologists, General Practitioners, Senior Addiction Counsellor, Addiction Counsellors, CNM2 nurses, Project Workers, Administration staff.
