mPower Project 2017 – 2022 Executive Summary

On 18th July the mPower Project held a celebratory event to share its successes and outcomes delivered over the five year period. Project ECHO NI supported the delivery of an 18-month ECHO programme within this project and the ECHO methodology was successfully used as a framework to share learning, provide peer support and a safe space for debriefing.
The evaluation report, produced by the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) Division of Rural Health and Wellbeing, demonstrated some of the contextual factors and mechanisms associated with positive impact generation within mPower, including strong links with local health care and third sector services and a patient-centred approach delivered by Community Navigators.
