ECHO Institute – 2025 Impact Report

The ECHO Institute’s 2025 Impact Report highlights the continued global growth and impact of the ECHO model in strengthening professional workforces and improving outcomes across health care, education and community services. By connecting experts with frontline practitioners through virtual, case-based learning networks, the ECHO model enables professionals to share knowledge, develop skills and build capacity within their own communities.

In 2025, the global ECHO network mentored more than 342,000 frontline professionals across 198 countries and regions, contributing to improved care and support for an estimated 116 million people worldwide. Through over 3,000 ECHO programmes and more than 30,000 learning sessions, practitioners collaborated across disciplines to address complex challenges including chronic disease management, maternal and child health, mental health, education and community development.

The report showcases stories from around the world demonstrating how the ECHO model helps overcome geographic and resource barriers, empowering local professionals with the knowledge and support they need to deliver better outcomes. Together, the global ECHO community continues to build resilient systems, expand access to expertise and strengthen services for communities everywhere.
