Evaluation is a core component of any Project ECHO network. It is important for determining if the network is running effectively and for evidencing the outcomes that have been produced, both of which are important for longer-term sustainability. The Project ECHO NI networks leads are responsible for evaluation, and will be supported in this by the Research Coordinator.

Developing your evaluation plan

A logic model provides a structural framework for developing your evaluation. It provides a visual display of your objectives, what your knowledge network will do and how, and the changes or outcomes you expect to deliver. The focus of your evaluation may differ depending on whether your network is just starting out or is more established.

Your logic model will lay the foundation for an evaluation plan. This will detail your evaluation the data you will use, and how you will collect this data (e.g. survey or interviews/focus groups).

Support for your evaluation
We can support you by creating and administering a short online survey to all network participants via SurveyMonkey. A summary of the results can then be shared with you once the survey is closed.

Alternatively, you can use the polling function with Zoom to administer survey questions to all network participants. This will provide you with real time feedback, however only allows one response per device. You could also schedule a focus group session to get feedback from participants and use Zoom to carry this out virtually or ask a question using the Chat function facility within zoom.

Contact
The Research Co-ordinator is available to help you develop your logic model and online surveys. If you have any questions in relation to the evaluation of your network please contact: email info@echonorthernireland.co.uk telephone: (028)9558 3403
