    Overview

    About this network

The Enhanced Patient Care and Observation (EPCO) Framework was endorsed for regional implementation in 2025, and has been available in the live encompass system from June 2025. All five HSC Trusts are leading on the implementation of EPCO through regional collaboration.

There are inevitably challenges as each Trust strives to change a culture that has been embedded in practice for many years. The Enhanced Patient Care Observation ECHO Network will support implementation by enabling engagement with a larger HSC audience and colleagues from the independent and voluntary sectors.

    Programme

    Starting soon

The curriculum setting session takes place on Wednesday 9 December 2026. The session programme will be posted here once it has been agreed.
